The Best Day Ever!!!

Liam slept over DiDi's so Mumma could sleep late on Mother's Day. Thankfully, he slept till 8:00, so DiDi didn't have to get up too early, either.

We made pictures & cards in the morning.

Then Uncle Frank, Auntie Shelly, Caroline and Catherine came into DiDi's, and we went on a big adventure to the Public Garden and the Swan Boats.

We took the train, and walked through Boston Common, stopping at the Playground for a little running around.

I see you!

Catherine and Auntie Shelly enjoyed the people watching!

As we walked through the Garden, we stopped to pat the police horse "Shorty." The kids were very conscious not to get too close!

Yikes!

There were SO many gorgeous tulips, and we stopped and took pictures of them all!

Then we stopped to feed the ducks. We forgot to bring crackers, but 2 nice ladies shared their bread with us.
Liam announced that this was the best day ever...that's his code for he's happy and having fun.

Little Catherine was very patient.

There was a line for the swan boats, so Auntie Shelly and Catherine waited in line while the rest of us took a break

Catherine fell asleep just before we got on the boats. Cutie pie!

It was a nice, sunny, peaceful lovely ride--and the kids took lots of their own pictures.

Liam never saw a stuffed animal that he didn't love, so he suggested we buy stuffed ducks for Caroline, Catherine, and Mumma--and himself, of course.
And DiDi hasn't mastered the art of saying No, so stuffed animals all around!

How gorgeous is Caroline?

More flowers and ducks.

Shelly took great photos of tulips.

Happy Mother's Day, Auntie Shelly! Sorry I cut off George Washington's head!

After lunch at Cheers, we went back to DiDi's and took a little rest before ending the adventure.

Easter Egg Hunt

Ok, so I figured out how to edit the video so it's shorter, and also how to post it here....now just have to figure out how to make it larger so you can see it!
